Osaka is famous for many things but one of the things we love most about our home town are the endless and delicious street side izakayas and restaurants
In this course, you will begin by learning a traditional (and very surprising!) method for making udon noodles from scratch before going off script a little and learning the secrets behind our signature dipping sauces.
Next up we will prepare our desert (sweet mochi balls) and a side dish consisting of spicy pickled cucumber (a dish currently taking TikTok by storm… apparently…)
We will finish with our take on Tempura, a Japanese staple, which you will learn cut, batter and deep fry to achieve the perfect light and cripsy texture.
After creating our own Izakaya in our kitchen, we will sit down to enjoy our creations together with a refreshing beer or brown rice green tea.
